Michelle's Automotive is owned and operated as a family business.  Michelle believes in the "Honey Do's" and is kind of fed up with going to local shops for her maintenance needs and repairs - especially being upsold, overpriced and hidden fee schemes.   Currently Michelle's Husband Jimmie Ford runs the repair side of the business and has been in the repair industry since 1980.  Like his Dad Willie Ford (petrol and diesel engine repair) and brother Willie Jr., (engineer) automotive runs in the family. Starting out as a Used Car Lot mechanic for Toyota South in Dallas, Texas, 1980-81 (where Jimmie bought his first car, 1976 Chevy Malibu) performing standard maintenance such as oil changes and tire repair and tune-up.  Keeping with the ever-changing automotive industry from combustible gas powered, to computer controlled and now to EV's and autonomous.   Michelle's Automotive Technician Mobile Services has the combined expertise of the mechanical and electrical knowledge and applications and being a former Texas State Vehicle Inspector, for safety and emissions we want to keep your vehicle running smoothly and safely on the roads.   In the early 2000, when auto makers were adding CVT's (Continuous variable transaxle) to their line of vehicles for fuel economy (that failed in some cars GM Saturn) - thinking outside the box Jimmie created a manual on "how to" swap from a CVT to an automatic transmission for DYI saving them thousands of dollars. Already ASE certified in many areas, we are still growing fast!
